Huyen Tran Temple Festival 2025 begins
(VOVWORLD) - A large number of people and tourists flocked to the Huyen Tran Temple Festival 2025 which opened on Thursday at Ngu Phong Mountain, Hue city to honor Princess Huyen Tran, the daughter of King Tran Nhan Tong, and her contributions to expanding the national border.

Phan Thanh Hai, Director of the municipal Department of Culture and Sports, said that the festival is in remembrance of the great contributions of historical figures including Princess Huyen Tran and King-Monk Tran Nhan Tong, who greatly contributed to the present-day Hue region.
“This is the first spring festival in the lead to a series of other festivals, Hue Festival 2025 activities, and the National Tourism Year-Hue 2025,” said Hai.
Cultural and sports activities were held at the festival, including bai choi performances, traditional martial arts performances, stick pushing games, calligraphy performances, and Ao Dai fashion show.
Le Thi Thao, a Hue resident, said, “Coming to the Huyen Tran Temple Festival, I feel peaceful. I want to pray for good health for my family and friends in the new year.”
