IAEA agrees to send inspectors to Ukraine's nuclear power plants
(VOVWORLD) -Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmygal said the UN nuclear watchdog International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has agreed to dispatch permanent teams to Ukraine's nuclear plants.

The Prime Minister said after a meeting with IAEA chief Rafael Grossi that teams will deploy to plants at Zaporizhzhia, Rivne, Khmelnytskyi, Pivdennoukrainska and Chernobyl, without specifying a timeframe. Shmygal added that during his meeting with the IAEA chief, he reiterated a call for the demilitarization of the plant in Zaporizhzhia, and made it a priority of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
