(VOVworld) – South Korean President Park Geun-hye has sent her appeal to the Constitutional Court denying all charges against her.

President Park was charged with allowing her close friend Choi Soon-sil to interfere in state affairs and to solicit business donations for a non-profit fund she controlled.

Last December, the South Korean National Assembly approved the impeachment of the President Park, and the Constitutional Court would have up to 180 days to decide whether to uphold the impeachment or reinstate her.

Ms. Park has repeatedly rejected accusations against her, saying the allegations might have been planned.
