India calls for ASEAN investment in infrastructure projects
(VOVWORLD) -Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Wednesday called on enterprises from ASEAN countries to invest in India’s infrastructure projects, including smart cities, highway, ports, and the electric power grid.

At the 10th Delhi Dialogue in New Delhi, the Minister hailed several initiatives that have opened new opportunities for trade and investment. Ms. Swaraj said India, Japan, China, Korea, Australia, and New Zealand will join the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) with the 10 ASEAN countries. She said she hopes RCEP will create better economic ties between India and ASEAN.
