PM Phuc said Vietnam-Indonesia economic relations are flourishing, adding that there is strong potential in the relationship thanks to their large populations, which rank 1^st and 2^nd in ASEAN countries. He said he believes Vietnam-Indonesia relations will reach a new height.

Minister Pandjaitan said Indonesia can learn from Vietnam’s model of economic and social development. He delivered to PM Phuc an invitation from Indonesian President Joko Widodo to attend the ASEAN Leaders’ gathering on the sideline of the annual meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group to be held in October in Bali.
