Indonesia’s President Joko Widodo unveils new cabinet
(VOVworld) - Indonesia's newly-elected President, Joko Widodo, unveiled his new cabinet on Sunday. Indonesia’s former Ambassador to the Netherlands, Retno Marsudi, was appointed Foreign Minister and became one of eight women in the new cabinet. Bambang Brodjonegoro was named Finance Minister and Sofyan Djalil Economics Minister. Puan Maharani, who is the daughter of former President Megawati Sukarnoputri, was named Minister of Social Welfare. Rini Soemarno, was appointed Minister of State-owned Enterprises and former army chief of staff Ryamizard Ryacudu, was made Defense Minister.
