The IOC is working closely with the International Ski Federation and the International Skateboarding Federation to see if North Korean athletes training overseas can take part in the Olympics. The North Korean Olympic Committee will send the IOC a definitive athlete list after consultation with the two Federations.
South Korean Prime Minister Lee Nak-yon said North Korea may send up to 500 athletes to the Winter Olympics.
