(VOVWORLD) - Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) agreed on Tuesday to extend their mornitoring deal one month, after the original three-month deal expired on Saturday.

At a press conference, IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi said monitoring activities will continue one month and expire on Monday.
Iran said the talks in Vienna aimed at reviving the JPOA nuclear deal depend on a "political decision" by the US, after Washington questioned Tehran's readiness to return to compliance with the accord.
