Iran to reopen its embassy in Saudi Arabia
(VOVWORLD) -Iran will send a team of experts to Saudi Arabia this week to prepare for the reopening of the Iranian embassy in Riyadh. Meanwhile, the Saudi delegation arrived in Tehran on Sunday to discuss the process of reopening the Saudi diplomatic mission in Iran.
On March 10, Iran and Saudi Arabia agreed to re-establish diplomatic relations under a deal brokered by China.
According to the deal, the two sides pledged to reopen embassies and representative missions in each other country within two months, as well as implement the economic and security cooperation agreements signed more than 20 years ago.
