(VOVworld) - Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani said Thursday that radical criticism of its nuclear deal with world powers is dangerous and he called for more dialogue and diplomacy.

Rouhani said in a live TV broadcast from Tehran that the nuclear deal, finally implemented in January after more than two years of talks, showed that logic and argument can triumph over power and threats. Radical thinking has told Iran not to trust anyone and has created disadvantages for Iran everywhere, he said.

Radical thinking creates the biggest danger to any society while moderate thinking will help Iran talk to the world while remaining self-reliant. Rouhani warned that the economic opportunities brought by the deal won’t last forever and criticized those who only see threats coming from the deal.
