IS takes control a coastal township in Libya
(VOVworld) – A branch of the Islamic State (IS) in Libya has taken control of Harawa, a coastal township about 70 km east of Sirte cirty.

Libyan media said on Saturday senior villagers handed over their power to IS gunmen after they released 3 hostages they captured in a previous clash. IS now controls an area of 200km coastline.
The local media reported that IS is operating freely around Hun and Waddan towns.
