(VOVworld) - Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Wednesday authorized a 4-hour humanitarian ceasefire from 3 pm local time in areas having no clashes in the Gaza Strip, according to the Xinhua News Agency.
The humanitarian truce will not apply to the areas where Israeli soldiers are currently operating. The territories where the IDF is operating include Beit Hanun in the northern Gaza, eastern suburb of Shejayia, and eastern Khan Younes and Rafah town. IDF also warned civilians not to return to the areas they had been asked to evacuate.
