(VOVworld)- According to an Israeli official, the Israeli-Palestinian negotiation scheduled to take place on Wednesday has been canceled after an Israeli police officer was shot.
Tel Aviv blamed Palestine for this case. Meanwhile, Palestinian officials said that the negotiation will be canceled until US special envoy Martin Indyk arrived on Thursday.
Negotiators from both sides met on April 13 and held a trilateral meeting with Martin Indyk on Wednesday to try to salvage the negotiation. Israel- Palestine negotiation has been stalled last week after Israel refused to release Palestinian prisoners as a previous negotiation. Palestine retaliated by registering to join 15 international and UN treaties and conventions as a Palestinian state before the negotiation deadline ends.
