Japan, Britain forge stronger partnership
(VOVWORLD) - Japan and Britain have agreed to set up an ambitious economic partnership as stipulated in an EU-Japan free trade agreement.

A statement delivered by Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and British Prime Minister Theresa May after a meeting in London confirmed cooperation in security and national defense to ensure that the Indian and Pacific oceans remain free and open. The two agreed to establish a new economic partnership as soon as possible. A Japan-EU trade agreement will take effect next month.
