(VOVworld) – A meeting was held in Hanoi on Thursday to review the implementation of an environmental project carried out between the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

Deputy Minister Vo Tuan Nhan said the project aims to enhance the ministry’s capacity for developing and implementing legal documents to improve the water environment in river basins.

Japanese experts said JICA will share their experiences and provide technical assistance for the Vietnamese side to effectively implement the project by helping Vietnam to improve the water environment in river basins efficiently.
