Chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference National Committee, Yu Zhengsheng, made the remarks in his meeting with Takeo Kawamura, chair of the Japanese House of Representatives Committee on Rules and Administration at the Great Hall of the People.
The highest level meeting since tension escalated in August regarding Chinese vessels operating in the East China Sea aimed to create more favorable situation before meeting between Chinese President Xi Jinping and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe during the G-20 Summit in China next month.
