(VOVworld) - President Tran Dai Quang attended a ceremony in commemoration of Hung Kings in Phu Tho province on Thursday. In a speech to mark the event, Phu Tho provincial people’s committee chairman Bui Minh Chau urged Vietnamese people to unite and overcome challenges in national construction. Similar celebrations took place in Ho Chi Minh City and Dak Lak province. Vi Van Tiep is a festival goer from Buon Ma Thuot city: “During the ancestral commemoration, we recall our roots and hold reunion for family members and friends.”

Kon Tum province hosted a festival in an ancient temple honoring Hung Kings. Le Viet Hung is a ritual participant: “Central highlands people always turn their heart and mind towards the ancestral festival to be proud of our glorious national construction history.”
