At the event

The festival is looking forward to an annual outstanding event featuring art programs and social events with the aim of promoting healthy lifestyles and mobilizes participation of the community into socio-cultural activities. Addressing the press conference, Counselor Jacob Green from the Danish Embassy highlighted the role of the festival in enhancing relations among all parties:
“The Monsoon Music Festival here in Hanoi will be a unique celebration of music and the opening ceremony at the Old Citadel will celebrate the strong partnership between Vietnam and Denmark and the close cooperation we have established with Vietnamese artists. The music festival is about music, meeting people, inspiration and creativity, understanding and partnerships.”
Hanoi municipal People’s Committee chose the Monsoon festival as one of the cultural highlights to celebrate the 60^th anniversary of Hanoi's liberation which falls on October 10^th. Three major art programs will take place in the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long on October 2^nd , 3^rd and 4^th.
