Mr. Moon spoke with reporters Thursday after returning home from a three-day trip to North Korea that included his third summit with leader Kim Jong Un. Moon said he hopes the US and North Korea will resume nuclear talks soon. He added that North Korea wants to focus on developing its economy, and high-level inter-Korean negotiations will be held soon to discuss the implementation of current agreements. President Moon said that the new military agreement will permanently remove any risk of war on the Korean Peninsula.
