(VOVWORLD) - The Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) on Thursday pledged 13 million USD to a project to make Hue a smart cultural and tourism city.

The project, to be completed in 2025, aims to improve public management, develop sustainable tourism, build a smart tourism information system, and expand Hue’s pedestrian streets.
The project will set up training courses in tourism development and urban management and install smart lighting and CCTV systems along the Huong river.
