Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan visits Lai Chau general hospital

(VOVworld)- Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan has asked local authorities in the northern province of Lai Chau to generate more jobs for rural workers and ensure water supply for people in mountainous areas. At a working session with provincial leaders on Sunday, the Deputy Prime Minister stressed the importance to invest more in improving teaching facility and the living conditions of teachers and students in remote and border areas. To achieve its socio-economic targets this year, the province asked the government help it to access more funding for infrastructure construction, and urban electricity network and add Nam Nhun to the list of poor districts. The province proposed to receive more capital to upgrade local schools and improve the lives of people in border areas.
