Lao NA Chairman’s Vietnam visit opens new chapter in bilateral cooperation
(VOVWORLD) - National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue yesterday evening hosted a banquet in Hanoi for his Lao counterpart Saysomphone Phomvihane and the Lao National Assembly high-ranking delegation who are visiting Vietnam from December 6-8.

Hue affirmed that amid complicated and uncertain developments in the region and the world, loyal and close-knit sentiments between the two countries and their people never change.
Saysomphone expressed his delight at visiting Vietnam after being elected as President of the 9th Lao NA. The leaders wished the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the Vietnamese and Lao Parties, States and people would be everlasting.
On the occasion, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Dinh Tien Dung presented 5 billion VND (217,000 USD) in support of Laos’ fight against the pandemic.
