Lao PM Phankham Viphavanh said he believes PM Chinh will excellently fulfill his important missions assigned to him by the Vietnamese Party, State and people.

PM Chinh said he wishes to work closely with the Lao PM to continuously strengthen and develop the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries.

The two government leaders vowed to closely coordinate and support each other at multilateral forums, especially ASEAN and the Greater Mekong Sub-region frameworks.

During the phone talks with PM Chinh, Cambodian PM Hun Sen highly valued Vietnam’s enormous achievements in the recent past, saying he believes that under the leadership of PM Chinh, the Vietnamese Government and people will reap more successes. 

Mr. Chinh said he will work closely with PM Hun Sen to continue sustainably and effectively developing the sound neighbourliness, traditional friendship, and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries and the two governments.

The two PMs agreed to coordinate to strengthen ties in defence and security, improve the effectiveness of borderline management, prevent the spread of diseases, and ensure the smooth flow of goods through border gates.

Both sides also concurred in keeping close coordination at multilateral forums and joining other member nations to maintain the solidarity and promote the centrality of ASEAN.
