Leaders send Christmas greetings to Christians
(VOVWORLD) - A wide range of activities and visits by Vietnamese leaders were held this week to wish all Catholics and Protestants across Vietnam a merry Christmas.

On Tuesday, Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilisation Truong Thi Mai visited the headquarters of Thai Binh province’s Archdiocese. Mai hailed contributions by local Catholic dignitaries and followers to Vietnam’s socio-economic development and asked them to continue their efforts.
Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Hoang Trung Hai on Tuesday visited Archbishop Nguyen Van Nhon to extend his Christmas and New Year greetings. Mr. Hai said he hopes Catholic dignitaries and followers will continue the solidarity and development of Hanoi.
The same day, Secretary of the Quang Ninh provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Doc met with local priests and representatives of the Gia Lai provincial People’s Committee delivered their seasonal greetings to local Protestant churches.
