(VOVworld) – Vietnam held a number of events to observe the 69^th War Invalid and Martyrs Day on July 27^th.

Ha Giang province’s Department of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs visited and presented gifts to more than 4,700 social beneficiaries and revolutionary contributors. On July 25^th and 26^th, Ha Giang will hold ceremonies to light candles at cemeteries and monuments across the province. Ha Giang province continues its program of repairing or building houses for revolutionary contributors.

The Quang Nam provincial People’s Committee donated 900,000 USD to take care of revolutionary contributors and their relatives.

Officials of Binh Phuoc and Hoa Binh province also visited and presented gifts to social beneficiaries.
