Secretary of Lai Chau province’s Party Committee Giang Pao My urged local authorities to intensify measures to prevent and control the epidemic, always be on duty and update the epidemic development in the area.

In Tuyen Quang province, emergency response teams are set up to support localities in the emergency cases and treatment of patients. Mr. Hoang Manh Hung, Head of Tuyen Quang province’s Disease Control Center, said: “Tuyen Quang province’s People’s Committee worked with the health sector and designated specific tasks for sectors and localities. We closely monitor guest workers, especially those returning from China. Those who had contact with the disease affected people are also under supervision”.

Dak Lak provincial Party Committee has issued a directive to intensify measures for novel coronavirus prevention and control in the area. The directive urges sectors and localities to further communicate to the people about the disease as well as measures to prevent novel coronavirus epidemic. Those who develop symptoms of fever, cough and breath difficulty must go to the medical clinics to report their disease and receive proper treatment.
