They were published material compiled by Vietnamese and foreign researchers, including the imperial archives of the Nguyen dynasty which described Vietnam’s exploitation, management, and exercise of its sovereignty over the two archipelagos from 1802 to 1945. There were documents published by Western countries since the 17th century and by China showing that China doesn’t have sovereignty over Truong Sa and Hoang Sa.
