Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Steering Committee for the Northwestern region, Nguyen Xuan Phuc, called on the two sectors to closely cooperate and consider caring for people’s health their permanent task, contributing to building an all-people’s national defense.
Over the past 5 years, the program “The army works for people’s health” has provided free healthcare and medicine to over 18,000 people and presented gifts to 1,000 social beneficiaries and medical equipment to 40 communal clinics.
