Military Zone 9 supports COVID-19 treatment
(VOVWORLD) - Some of the medical staff of Military Zone 9 have been deployed to a field hospital in the Mekong Della city of Can Tho to help fight COVID-19 there.

Field Hospital 6B in O Mon district treats light- and medium-severity COVID-19 patients, according to Colonel Nguyen Van Ninh, the hospital’s Director.
“Though it is a challenging and dangerous task, all of us are determined to uphold the tradition of Uncle Ho's soldiers and his teachings ‘Physicians like gentle mothers’. We’re ready to overcome all difficulties, united to complete our assigned tasks, and determined to return only when we’ve successfully contained the COVID-19 epidemic,” said Ninh.
The 300-bed hospital can expand its capacity to 500 beds if necessary.
