Moscow ready to resume relations with EU

(VOVWORLD) - Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov held talks with Portuguese Foreign Minister Augusto Santos Silva in Moscow on Monday to discuss bilateral ties and relations between Russia, the EU, and NATO.

The two leaders agreed that the resumption of Russia-EU relations serves Europe’s interests. Lavrov said both sides will expand cooperation in political dialogue, parliamentary exchanges, and diplomacy.

Lavrov stressed that Moscow is ready to reopen all channels of dialogue, cooperation, and mutually beneficial projects, and many EU members want to resume bilateral ties with Russia.
