(VOVWORLD) - National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue met with a delegation of former political prisoners and prisoners of war from Ho Chi Minh City yesterday.

Mr. Hue said the National Assembly promulgated on July 1, 2021 the Ordinance on incentives for people with meritorious services to the revolution, specifying conditions, criteria, and preferential policies.
“The 11th Party Central Committee issued Resolution 15 on social policy to further strengthening the leadership and effectiveness of social policy work. It is expected that the 7th plenum of the 13th Party Central Committee will review 10 years of implementing the Resolution. The Politburo agreed to submit to the Party Central Committee for promulgation a new resolution to further strengthen policies on social work for national contributors,” said Mr. Hue.
NA Chairman Hue agreed to continue calling on the international community to remedy Agent Orange/dioxin consequences, and work with relevant agencies to consider treatment methods, medicines, and support policies for Agent Orange /dioxin victims.
