(VOVWORLD) -National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue received Treasurer of Victoria Tim Pallas and representatives of Linfox, Elenberg Fraser and Sinclair Brook on Saturday in Melbourne during his official visit to Australia.

At the meeting with the Treasurer of Victoria, Chairman Hue welcomed Victoria and Ho Chi Minh City for signing a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in May 2022. He applauded Victoria for opening a Trade-Investment Representative Office in Ho Chi Minh City.
At the meeting with Callum Fraser, founder of Elenberg Fraser and Phil Burns, Chairman of Sinclair Brook, Mr. Hue affirmed that Vietnam is a very potential and attractive market for businesses development, especially real estate business, tourism, entertainment, services, and information technology.
The National Assembly Chairman suggested that leading Australian corporations focus on investment cooperation in building smart cities in Vietnam.
Leaders of corporations said they are impressed with Vietnam's socio-economic development and want to be facilitated to explore investment opportunities and find partners in Vietnam.
