NA Chairman Tran Thanh Man leaves for Uzbekistan for IPU-150, official visit

(VOVWORLD) - National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, his wife, and a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation, on Saturday left for an official visit to Uzbekistan and attending the 150th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU-150).

The visit, taking place from April 5 to 8, shortly after Mr. Man concluded his official visit to Armenia, was made at the invitation of IPU President Tulia Ackson, IPU Secretary General Martin Chungong, and President of the Uzbekistani Senate Tanzila Narbaeva.

During the visit to Armenia, Chairman Man and Armenian leaders discussed key directions for enhancing bilateral ties, emphasizing the need to tap into areas with high cooperation potential.

Both sides agreed to foster legal frameworks and favorable conditions to boost direct business links and investment opportunities.

The two National Assembly Chairmen signed a Cooperation Agreement, laying the groundwork for deeper parliamentary collaboration between Vietnam and Armenia in the future.
