(VOVworld) - National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung has asked Hau Giang province to further promote the development of agriculture, farmers and rural areas.

During a working session with provincial leaders on Tuesday as part of his Mekong Delta tour, Chairman Hung underscored the importance of the Party’s resolution on developing agriculture, farmers and rural areas, which has inspired people from all walks of life and generated obvious economic achievements. He said the results of the resolution will pave the way for the enhancement of farmers’ living conditions, contributing to the economic development of the country. Chairman Hung is also Chairman of the Steering Committee for the review of the five-year implementation of the resolution.
