(VOVworld) - The National Assembly Standing Committee (NASC) opened its 42^nd session in Hanoi on Monday in preparation for the 10^th session of the National Assembly. The five-day Standing Committee session will review the government’s report on  the implementation of the socio-economic development plan for 2015 and the socio-economic development plan for 2016, the 2015 state budget, budget estimates for 2016, and the terms of government bond issues.

The Committee will also discuss preparatory work for the upcoming 10th session of the National Assembly, scheduled to begin next Tuesday; the accession to the 1965 Hague Convention on Service Abroad of Judicial and Extrajudicial Documents in Civil or Commercial Matters; and the National Election Council and National Election Day for National Assembly deputies and People’s Council representatives at all levels.

During their 42^nd session, the Committee will also provide feedback on bills on Asset Auction; Signing and accession to international conventions (amended); Administrative Procedures (amended); and Tax and Associations.
