(VOVworld) - Delegates to the National Assembly Standing Committee discussed revisions to the bill on state compensation on Friday. Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People’s Court, Tong Anh Hao, called for compensation to relatives of victims suffering from misconduct of criminal prosecution procedures.

Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, Uong Chu Luu said: “Victims’ family members such as wife, children and parents suffer from serious consequences of justice misconducts, their children had to drop out of school and some even commit suicide. The State should have compensation policy for them and they should be apologized.”
