(VOVworld) – A delegation from the National Assembly Standing Committee headed by NA Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan on Wednesday visited the southern province of An Giang to supervise its agriculture and rural development. Ms. Ngan said An Giang has great potential in agriculture production. She asked the province to do more research on agriculture, and more public investment in agriculture and rural development, especially the implementation of policies for farmers. Ms. Ngan also made a fact-finding tour of a large-scale rice field owned by the An Giang Plant Protection Joint Stock Company.
