(VOVworld) – National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung underlined the importance of 2015, the final year of Vietnam’s 5-year socio-economic development plan, and Party Congresses at all levels to be held in preparation for the 12th National Party Congress.

At a conference in Hanoi on Monday to review collaboration in 2014 between the NA Standing Committee and the Presidium of the Vietnam Fatherland Front’s Central Committee and lay out their tasks for 2015, Mr. Hung said he expects both agencies to continue working together on legislation, law enforcement, meetings with constituents, and social commentary.

Chairman Hung noted that joint work by the NA, the NA Standing Committee, and the VFF has received the support of the public, strengthening public trust in Party leadership and State policies.
