(VOVworld) - National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung held talks with his Republic of Korean (RoK) counterpart Kang Chang-hee in Seoul on Monday. Earlier, he met with Prime Minister Chung Hong-won. The visiting leader asked the Korean Government to adopt more incentives and create favorable conditions for businesses to invest in Vietnam and for Vietnamese exports to RoK. Hung also urged increased ODA for Vietnam, particularly ODA for the transport infrastructure. The National Assembly Chairman proposed that both sides speed up negotiations to promptly sign the agreement on judicial support in the civil and trade areas. He said RoK should facilitate Vietnamese citizens with visa formalities such as shortening visa-granting time, exempting visa fees, and expanding visa exemption cases. With regards to labor cooperation and citizen protection, Chairman Hung expressed his hope that both sides continue to work closely to address arising problems, boosting labor cooperation and easing conditions for the Vietnamese community in RoK.

On Monday afternoon, Chairman Hung visited the Korea Development Institute and the Korea Institute of Science and Technology.
