The National Assembly’s Standing Committee today/Monday held an online meeting with full deputies to prepare for the next session of the National Assembly. The deputies discussed amendments to the Law on Trade Union to improve its performance. Nguyen Ngoc Phuong, a deputy from Quang Binh province said foreigners working in Vietnam should be subject to the law. "The rights and responsibility of laborers are equal, therefore, foreign workers in Vietnam should be protected by the trade union if necessary", said Phuong.

The deputies agreed on the need to solve the relations between employers, employees and the trade union.
