Deputies said they hope the 3-day question-and-answer session will help resolve current social issues. Deputy Tran Van Mao of Nghe An province said: “My concern is the governmental administrative system and boosting administrative agency effectiveness.”
The session will focus more on Ministers’ answers to deputies’ questions rather than debate among deputies. Deputy Pham Thi Minh Hien of Phu Yen province said: “I hope there will be more time for Ministers to answer our questions. Deputies should debate with Ministers, not with each other. I expect that this session will be straightforward and democratic with dynamic debates.”
Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Nguyen Xuan Cuong, Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh, Minister of Home Affairs Le Vinh Tan, and Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung will field questions raised by deputies during the session.
