(VOVworld) – A ceremony to kick off National Tourism Year 2013 themed “Red River Civilization”, will take place on January 6^th in the northern province of Hai Phong. This will be followed by a lion dance and the Trinh temple festival celebrating the 427^th death anniversary of Doctoral Laureate Nguyen Binh Khiem.

On Wednesday in Hanoi Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism Hoang Tuan Anh told the steering committee and organizing boards of National Tourism Year 2013 that the event should be thoroughly, economically, and impressively organized to attract both domestic and foreign visitors. He urged cities and provinces in the Red River delta including host Hai Phong province to improve service quality and promote the campaign. The main goal of the National Tourism Year is to draw more tourists to the region and to Vietnam.
