(VOVworld) - NATO foreign ministers are gathering at a meeting in Brussels to discuss the ongoing crisis in Ukraine.

NATO spokesperson Oana Lungescu said the 2-day meeting would focus on the security crisis resulting from the situation in Ukraine, NATO’s capability to resolve the crisis, and measures to foster its partnership with Ukraine. Delegates will seek ways to bolster the defence capacity building of the 28 member states of the alliance and air drills to be held over the Baltic Sea around Romania and Poland. NATO will also discuss political consultation with Ukraine and support for its defence reforms.
The meeting will also review relations between NATO and Georgia, the ongoing situation in Afganistan, cooperation between NATO and the Gulf countries, and preparations for the NATO Summit scheduled for September in the UK.
