British Prime Minister David Cameron told the Conservative Members Committee – also called the 1922 Committee - Monday after unveiling his line-up that he wants to focus on a positive vision of the future, notably putting the economy back on the right track and getting Britain back to its former status.
Cameron has finished the reshuffle of his cabinet following his Conservative party’s victory in the parliamentary election last week. He retained major figures and made few changes in the cabinet. He appointed a new Justice Secretary, Culture Secretary, Secretary of State for Business, and Energy and Climate Change Secretary. Baroness Stowell of Beeston remained Leader of the House of Lords and will enjoy full-time cabinet membership. Chris Grayling replaced former Foreign Secretary William Hague as Leader of the House of Commons.
