(VOVWORLD) -The Union of the Vietnamese Student Associations in New South Wales (UAVS), Australia, organized a Gala night on Friday involving Vietnamese students studying in secondary schools and universities in Australia.
12 performances featured diverse topics but all reflected their national pride. Nguyen Phuc Binh, President of the Union, said “Gala Night-The Intro” was the first student event organized by UAVS which marked the official debut of the Union in Australia. Binh said the Union will try to make it an annual event to connect Vietnamese students in Australia.
