(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam has reported no new Covid-19 cases in the past 9 days and production and business activities have resumed nationwide.

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc made the announcement while chairing a meeting on COVID-19 prevention and control at the Government Office on Friday morning.
To achieve the dual goal of preventing and controlling COVID-19 while restoring the economy, the Prime Minister asked ministries, sectors, and localities to stay vigilant for new cases. Foreigners allowed to enter Vietnam must obey all safety recommendations, he said.
