No new local infections of COVID-19 in Vietnam for 33 days
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam has gone 33 days in a row without detecting any local infections of COVID-19, keeping the national tally at 1,096, the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control reported on Monday.

The number of infections linked to the resurgence of the virus in Da Nang city in late July remains at 551.
Among the active patients, 7 have tested negative for the novel coronavirus at least once.
1,020 patients have fully recovered and there are currently no patients in critical condition. The fatality count from COVID-19 is 35, most of them elderly people with serious underlying health issues.
