On Thursday, North Korea’s KCNA News Agency, quoting a spokesman from North Korea’s bureau of space development, said North Korea’s satellite launches and use of space for peaceful purposes are legal.
South Korea strongly condemned North Korea after its latest long-range ballistic missile launch, which South Korea called a failure. The South Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the launch violated a UN Security Council resolution and creates a great threat to peace and security.
