Nuclear power, a pillar in Japan’s future energy policy
(VOVworld) – Lawmakers of Japan’s Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) proposed to Prime Minister Shinzo Abe Tuesday that Japan generate around 60% of its electricity from stable sources but still depend on nuclear power. According to the LDP, nuclear power will account for at least 20% of the total energy supply. The Japanese government is working out its future national energy mix.
