(VOVworld) – The Organisation for Islamic Co-operation (OIC) on Tuesday condemned Israel for committing war crimes in the Gaza strip and called for donations for restructuring Gaza.

At the OIC Ministerial Conference in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, the Organisation issued a statement condemning Israeli troops’ war crimes within Palestine’s territory. The statement demands Israel immediately stop its aggression against the Palestinian people and recognise its legal and political responsibility for its war crimes.
The OIC hailed Saudi Arabi for its 80-million-USD medical aid for the people of Gaza and for its pledges to provide 500 million USD to restructure the territory. OIC members also called for a meeting of donors on restructuring the Gaza strip which could cost from 4 to 6 million USD. A Palestinian official said that Egypt had offered to host the donors meeting.
